Acrobatic Arts hosts certification courses in various Australian cities in 2016
Acrobatic Arts, an educational organisation providing professional curriculum for acrobatic dance, offers training courses worldwide for dance teachers and studio owners. After hosting its Module One and Two training and certification courses in Perth this month, Acrobatic Arts will return in October and November to host events in Coolum Beach, QLD (October 8 – 9), Adelaide, SA (October 11 – 12), Melbourne, VIC (October 15 – 16) and Sydney, NSW (November 26 – 27.)
Acrobatic Arts’ program is based on “safe and effective progressions.” It has verified results in five divisions of AcroDance: flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling.
The curriculum was developed with input from professionals and experts in various movement genres, including ballet, modern dance, jazz, contortion, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, sport acrobatics, yoga, Pilates, physiotherapy, hand balancing and more.
With simple and thoughtful progressions, the curriculum promises to address both the beginner preschool level dancer currently working on log rolls and summersaults to the advanced dancer who’s tumbling effortlessly across the stage.
