Transit Dance to present ‘O’

Transit Dance’s Pre-Professional CourseTransit Dance’s Pre-Professional Course, featuring “Australia’s future contemporary dance artists”, will present a compelling night of contemporary dance with its inaugural production season O, set for April 14-17 at the company’s facility in Kensington, VIC.

The performances will premiere two brand-new works. The first by Transit Dance’s Artistic Director Paul Malek, also known for his choreography (like Yours Truly for Collaboration The Project), and the second by acclaimed Australian choreographer Daniel Jaber, renowned as the new artistic director of Leigh Warren Dance and for his choreography (such as Nought for Australian Dance Theatre).

O will feature a cast of 18 dancers in an intimate environment. “Intensity will propel out of the performance space and resonate deeply with all who are in range,” promises the program note.
