Sydney Opera House hosts 2-day forum

Engaging Students with DisabilitiesFollowing last year’s highly successful forum, dance teachers and arts practitioners are invited to another “Dance, Theatre and Visual Art: Engaging Students with Disability” forum on Thursday and Friday, August 20 and 21 at the Sydney Opera House.

Exchange information, ideas and inspiration with industry experts and practitioners from the arts and disability network in this interactive two-day forum for teachers, families and artists.

Participants will work alongside leading artists from Sensorium Theatre and will have the opportunity to explore their production Oddysea. The highly regarded work of the MCA Bella Program artists will also be featured alongside talks and workshops by sector leaders including Gerard O’Dwyer (award-winning actor and theatre maker) and David Capra (the 2015 Bella Room Commission Artist). Plus, the newly formed Murmuration Dance Theatre will also be present.
