Moulin Rouge Auditions Across Australia

Do you dream about performing on the mythical stage of the most famous cabaret in the world – the Moulin Rouge in Paris? Then don’t miss your chance to tryout for the Moulin Rouge as it prepares to host auditions across Australia in July! The Moulin Rouge has been revealing talents for more than 126 years – this could be your opportunity to join its illustrious legacy!

Auditions will come to six Australian cities this year, including Adelaide and Cairns for the first time ever! (See all the dates and times below.)

Moulin Rouge officials will be looking for male and female performers with serious dance training. Applicants should have a good classical base and be advanced in modern and jazz. The minimum height for female dancers is 175 cm (5’9.) For males, it’s 185 cm (6’1.) Ideally, all female auditionees should have a “slim, graceful figure” while the males should be more “well proportioned and muscled.” A great stage presence and a bright personality are musts.
