Melbourne City Ballet auditioning in 3 cities

Melbourne City Ballet will soon hold auditions for its Professional Company and its Training Programs in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The organisation is committed to providing as many professional opportunities for artists as possible, as well as the highest quality training for young, upcoming dancers.

Dancers can audition for the following positions and programs: Company Artist (Professional Artist Positions); Emerging Artist Positions (Company Trainee Year); Finishing Year Program (Pre-Professional Bridging Year); Elite Full-Time Program (three to five days per week); and Melbourne Institute of Classical Arts (MICA).

The Brisbane auditions are scheduled for Sunday, September 17 at the Queensland Ballet Thomas Dixon Centre, West End.

The Sydney auditions are scheduled for Sunday, September 24 at MacDonald College, North Strathfield.

Local Melbourne auditions are scheduled for Sunday, October 1 at Melbourne City Ballet Centre, Coburg.

Finally, more MICA auditions are scheduled for October 21 at Melbourne City Ballet Centre. The first set of MICA auditions were held August 26.
