Little Red Riding Hood Dancer Auditions

In 2016, Queensland Ballet will launch its new My First Ballet series with ballets tailored specifically to younger audiences. The series will open with Little Red Riding Hood and Queensland Ballet is holding auditions for dancers to be a part of this very special production.

Funny, cheeky and feisty, Little Red Riding Hood is a delightful mash up of ballet and creative theatrics that will be a perfect introduction to ballet for young families and children.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, December 6 for both male and female ballet dancers. Queensland Ballet will be looking for excellent classical technique and strong stage presence.

Dancers should either reside in Brisbane or be willing to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Successful dancers will also be required to be available for select time periods for production development, rehearsals and performances.

Dancers wishing to audition should register their interest by sending a CV and headshot to auditions@queenslandballet.com.au by Thursday, December 3. Applicants considered for audition will be notified by email.
