KAR prepares for its first Australia Tour

KAR 2015 Australian Dance Tour This year for the first time, Kids Artistic Revue (KAR) will be touring Australia! KAR’s 2015 Australian Dance Tour will include stops in Sydney, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth and Adelaide! All participating dancers are automatically eligible for a chance to win a trip to the 2016 Industry Dance Awards in Hollywood, CA!

Team KAR Australia writes, “Australian dance community, thank you so much for all the incredible support you have shown us as we embark on our first-ever KAR Australia Tour. We are honoured to have the opportunity to bring a world-class dance competition and educational experience directly to your doorstep. Countless hours of hard work and preparation have gone into providing you with the most sensational dance event in the world.”

Through the years, KAR and Rainbow National Dance Competition (KAR’s sister company) have given Australian dancers the opportunity to perform and compete at their National Finals in the United States. In addition, they’ve given American dancers the chance to travel to Australia in a cooperative and educational exchange. Now KAR is showing a token of their appreciation by bringing an entire tour down under just for Aussie fans!

KAR Australia Tour 2015The team said, “We realise that many of you have invested a substantial amount of money to compete at our National Finals in the states. As a token of our appreciation for the unending support you have shown us, we will be bringing the same high-quality KAR competition and dance convention that we have in the USA straight to you. By registering for one of our competitions, you will be eligible for numerous awards that will afford dancers the opportunity to travel to the United States and attend KAR dance events.”

KAR has been producing dance competitions for 37 years under the direction of CEO and Founder Noah R. Lands. In conjunction with Rainbow National Dance Competition, they are producing 145 national dance competitions in 2015.

“Our dance convention in the United States currently tours 20 cities and awards hundreds of dancers scholarships to continue their dance training. We also created one of the most ambitious events in the dance industry, the Industry Dance Awards. We will continue to produce this event in conjunction with numerous other dance competitions, cancer charities and professional dance [events]. In the past six months, our charity Circle of Hope Dancers Foundation collected $200,000 in donations and provided financial relief to dancers, teachers and studio owners in need. We are very passionate about giving back to the dance community and that is why we are pleased to announce we will be bringing our Circle of Hope Dancers Foundation to Australia on our 2015 tour,” the KAR team wrote.

KAR Australia Tour 2015This will allow much-needed financial assistance to be provided to members of the Australian dance community.

Also, through KAR’s partnership with The Pulse, it has acquired some of the biggest names in the dance industry to train dancers in a nurturing and encouraging environment. KAR’s master teaching staff includes Cris Judd, Brooke Lipton, Donna Shepherd, Mario Velez, Leah Howard, Debbie Ellis, Robbie Kmetoni, Kate Wormald-Leopold and Yvette Lee. This line-up of renowned master teachers will serve to equip dancers with an array of tools, skills and knowledge from some of the best industry minds that America and Australia have to offer.

Plus, to assist these master teachers and to enhance your dance training at the Canberra, Perth and Adelaide conventions, dance prodigy Sophia Lucia will be in attendance and be available for a meet-and-greet session following the workshops.

“We are also ecstatic to announce that the dance television star Jojo Siwa will be joining our master teachers in Sydney, Gold Coast and Melbourne,” KAR shared.

All dancers who compete at KAR receive handcrafted trophies and plaques because “we want each performer to feel inspired to reach their full creative potential,” stated KAR. The knowledgeable panel of judges will provide each dance with valuable critiques and commentary.

“To say we are excited about this new venture would be an understatement,” summarized Team KAR Australia. “We cannot wait to create new relationships with studio owners, teachers, parents and dancers from around Australia. We love dance and look forward to sharing our passion for this art with you through performance, conversation and education.”
