JCMOD holds auditions for 2017 entry

Australian full time dance courseJason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance (JCMOD) in North Melbourne recently held its early bird auditions on August 28 for acceptance to its full time dance courses in 2017. The next round of open group auditions will be held on Saturday, October 1.

 

These auditions are for dancers interested in beginning one of JCMOD’s full time course options, which include Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance), Diploma of Musical Theatre, Certificate IV in Dance, Certificate IV in Musical Theatre and Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management.

 

Students will train under faculty members like Chief Executive Officer Jason Coleman, Adrian Ricks, Deb Mitchelmore, Michael Ralph, Kim Adam, Jordan Herbert, Nadia Tornese, Dana Jolly, Yvette Lee, Arna Singleton, Mitch Fistrovic, Jess Quinn, Diana Ricks, Vince Calingasan, Jack May, Phill Haddad, Brittany Page Romy Vuksan, Etienne Khoo and Andrea Arena. 

 

Previous guest instructors have included industry professionals such as Jason Gilkison, The Squared Division, Marko Panzic, Michael Snell, Ellen Simpson, Nathan Pinnell, Loredo Malcolm, Monica Swayne, Cristina D’Agostino, Kyla Bartholomeusz, Tim Barnes, Jess Raffa, Simon Fairweather and Brodie Chesher. 

 

Subjects include the classic stylistic staples like jazz, ballet, tap, contemporary, hip-hop and musical theatre, as well as acrobatics, drama, singing, deportment and choreography.
