Ian Potter Cultural Trust funding round opens

Australian artist grantsA new funding round has opened for the Ian Potter Cultural Trust, which provides small grants of up to $7,000 to individual Australian artists for professional development opportunities overseas. This round closes May 23 for projects or travel that commences after September 22.

Established in 1993 by The Ian Potter Foundation, the Trust has a well-defined goal – to encourage and support exceptional emerging and early career Australian artists. In addition to encouraging artists from diverse practices to apply this year, the Trust also wants more applicants from outside the major cities.

The travel or the project itself must not take place before the funding is approved.
