Expressions Dance to perform in opera ‘Aida’

Following its recent sold-out season of Mozart Airborne with Opera Queensland, Expressions Dance Company (EDC) will now focus on a new project: performing choreography by Elise May in Opera Australia’s Griffith Opera on the Beach: Aida. 

Running from September 21-30, Opera Australia’s Aida will be presented at Coolangatta Beach, Gold Coast. It will feature a huge cast and orchestra performing Verdi’s famous music.

The new production will include fireworks, colourful costumes and local surf lifesavers parading past viewers on the sand – not to mention real-life camels.

The show will last approximately two hours and 40 minutes, including one 30-minute interval. For further information, head to expressionsdancecompany.org.au.
