Cancer Council to launch Stars of the Beaches

The launch event for Cancer Council NSW’s celebrated community dance gala Stars of the Beaches: Dance for Cancer is set for this Thursday, 9 February at 12 p.m. The event will be held at the Dee Why RSL Club and the dress code is cocktail or business formal.

Stars of the Beaches will see local celebrities, business people and community leaders with no dance experience paired with a professional dance instructor to perform on the gala night and “dance for cancer” whilst fundraising for Cancer Council NSW. These local stars will battle it out on the dance floor for the three awards up for grabs: Judges’ Choice, People’s Choice and Highest Fundraiser.

The launch event will announce the stars of this year’s event (there are apparently some high profile names!), their dance style (could it be jazz, ballet, tango?!) and their dance partner.
