Brisbane Festival this September

Brisbane Festival will reach new heights from 8-29 September with amazing local talent joining performers from across Australia, the USA, Germany, South America and Israel, injecting creativity, energy and artistic brilliance into the city.

Thousands of culture-lovers will descend on South Bank – the heart of the Festival and entertainment hub – which will host The Courier-Mail Spiegeltent, pop-up bars and endless opportunities to stay up late.

Kicking off with the laser light spectacular Santos City of Lights, Brisbane Festival will present three weeks of world-first collaborations, exciting dance premieres, poignant theatre, steamy circus and incredible classical music and opera. And in the grandest-ever closing night Sunsuper Riverfire will bring the curtain down with magnificent fireworks and special effects.
