Bangarra embarks on European tour

Bangarra Dance Theatre has embarked on a three-city European tour, which will be its most impressive international program to date. The company will present programs to audiences in Copenhagen, Bonn and Berlin, for a total of six shows.

The international tour will include activities devised to increase local engagement and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Bangarra will offer dance and culture classes with area youth and Indigenous groups, plus professional contemporary dance workshops. Bangarra will also take part in a didgeridoo showcase with Bangarra’s cultural consultant and founding member, Djakapurra Munyarryun.
