Auditions now open for Patrick Studios

Full time dance in MelbournePatrick Studios Australia (PSA) in Melbourne will soon begin holding auditions for 2017 intake to its full time dance courses. First up, PSA will host auditions for The Academy, a high school of performing arts for years 7 to 12, on August 27. Then will come the auditions for the Performing Arts options (Certificates II, III or IV) on September 10. November 5 will bring the Musical Theatre diploma auditions.

 

Performing Arts students will study ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip-hop, lyrical, acrobatics, musical theatre, group vocal, specialised boys’ ballet, and Pilates/gym (onsite). Similarly, Musical Theatre and Academy students will study many of these subjects, but also voice science, dialect, acting, music theory/piano skills, sight-reading, cabaret and ballroom.

 

PSA dance teachers include Todd Patrick, Amanda Stone, Andrew Hallsworth, Kim Adam, Michael Ralph, Darren Tyler, Elysia Cardona, Nadia Tornese, Martijn Sedgfield, Hayley Winch, Daniel Jones, Robert Shook, Charlotte Tooke, Dana Jolly and Jason Duff. Musical theatre teachers include David Wisken, Kristin Keam, Nick Simpson-Deeks, Tim Smith and Gillian Cosgriff.
