Applications to close for Bare Bones 2018

The Farm dance theatre company on The Gold CoastThe Farm, recognised as The Gold Coast’s flagship dance theatre company, recently decided that as a special Christmas gift and to celebrate the announcement of the 2018 Supercell Dance Festival it would leave applications open for Bare Bones 2018 till January 4.

Bare Bones is a workshop festival in which dancers and dancemakers come together to collaborate and create. It’s 2017 debut was a success, with dancers from across Australia enjoying the opportunity to work with facilitators like Swiss choreographer Simone Truong, Hungarian Mate Meszaros, Legs on the Wall Co-Artistic Director Joshua Thomson and Berlin-based Canadian Laurie Young.

Now The Farm is calling for dancers and dancemakers to join its second annual Bare Bones workshop festival. Bare Bones 2018 promises to feature several leading dancers and choreographers since many will be in town for Supercell. It will run February 10-12 at The Farm House.

The Farm will notify everyone selected on January 10, so get your Expressions of Interest in for these “dance workshops without artifice” at www.thefarm.company/bare-bones-1.
