2017 Summer School with Kirsty Martin

National College of Dance 2017 Summer School AustraliaHow would you like to dance with Kirsty Martin of The Australian Ballet School and David Mack of Sydney Dance Company in NSW this summer? If this sounds like a dream come true and you’re between 3 years old and pre-professional status, then the National College of Dance (NCD) has a summer school for you!

 

First up, the 2017 Junior Summer School is a perfect school holiday activity for 3-10 year olds. With age appropriate ballet and jazz classes, plus craft activities for the younger ages, this the perfect summertime option for your dance-centric youth. Instructors include ballet dancers Jake Burden and Emma Jones, and NCD teachers Isabelle Leonard and Jamie King.

 

This Junior Summer School will run January 11–13 for ages 3-10 years. All students will demonstrate what they’ve learned on the afternoon of the last day.

 

Secondly, NCD is offering a 2017 Summer School on January
 16-20 for ages 10 to pre-professional. In addition to highly esteemed guest artists like Kirsty Martin and David Mack, instructors will include professional acrobatic and gymnastics instructor Cody Moore, Artistic Director Brett Morgan, Head of Diploma Course Timothy Gordon and jazz and contemporary teacher Zoe Jones. Participants will study classical repertoire, contemporary repertoire, stage craft, acro and jazz.
